Children's Classes

    Children's classes are 45 minutes long. Adults are an hour. They meet once a week. Each class is devoted to one type of dance; ballet, tap, or jazz. Preschool children however have a combination class.
    In order that each student feels he belongs, a uniform is worn. It consists of a leotard, skirt and tights for the girls and T shirt and jazz pants for the boys.
    Students are encouraged to perform in the year end recital and through out the season. It is considered part of their dance education.
    Report cards issued every eight weeks. Students are graded on:

Attendance
Ability to concentrate
Flexibility
Strength
Timing
Coordination
Posture
Style
Quickness in learning new material
Projection
